Application & Use The Gecko Pro Super Cut is developed for professional use and delivers the best results in combination with the correct polishing pad. Suitable for both machine and manual polishing. For optimal results, we recommend working with a polishing machine and our matching polishing pads. View the complete range in our Gecko Pro-Line for every step in the polishing process. Instructions for use: Use the Gecko polishing machine with the Gecko Hard Cutting pad and sufficient product. Shake well before use and remove any irregularities beforehand using suitable sandpaper if necessary. 1. Preparation: Wash and degrease the vehicle thoroughly with our Gecko car shampoo. Rinse well and dry the surface. 2. Application: Apply a small amount to the Gecko Hard Cutting Pad. 3. Distribution: Spread the paste over the paint surface at low speed. 4. Polishing: Increase the speed to 1500 - 1800 rpm and work in strips of approx. 1 m². Prevent drying out by lightly misting with water if necessary. 5. Wiping off: Remove any remaining product residue with one of the Gecko Microfiber cloths from the 5-pack (item no. 687853). 6. Finishing: For further paint correction, we recommend proceeding with the Gecko Pro Compound – Step 2. Do you wish to complete the treatment without additional polishing steps? Then always apply a protective layer to seal the paint. Use the Gecko Wax Guard (item number 687692) for this purpose, ensuring durable protection and a deep shine. Professional tip: For hard-to-reach areas such as edges, corners, and contours, we recommend using our compact polishing pads (80 mm). These are specially designed for precision work on smaller surfaces. If necessary, combine with a hand pad and a high-quality microfiber cloth for maximum control and a perfect end result.
